Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This policy explains how ToolPivo ("the site") handles your data. In short: what you type into the tools and the files you choose are never sent to our server.

1. Data and files you use in the tools

All tools on the site (JSON formatter, Base64, URL encoding, hash generator, regex tester, UUID and QR code generators, PDF merge / split / organize, image to PDF, PDF to image and others) run in your browser:

2. Local browser storage (localStorage)

So you do not have to re-enter everything next time, the site stores each tool's input, result and settings in your browser's localStorage:

3. Cookies

The site only uses cookies needed to run the site. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies:

cf_clearanceCloudflareRemembers that you passed a Cloudflare security check so you are not asked againDepends on security settings, usually from tens of minutes to a few days
_cfuvidCloudflareTells different visitors on the same network apart when rate limiting appliesUntil you close the browser

Cloudflare's cookies are set only when its security features need them, so they may not appear on every visit.

4. Server logs

Like most websites, the server automatically records basic access information such as IP address, time of visit, requested URL and browser type. These logs are used only to keep the site running, troubleshoot problems and prevent attacks, not to identify individuals, and they are deleted automatically after 30 days.

5. Cloudflare

The site uses Cloudflare to deliver pages and protect against attacks. When you visit, your connection first goes through Cloudflare's servers, so Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, the requested URL and browser information in order to deliver pages, speed them up and block attacks. What you type into the tools and the files you choose are never sent anywhere, so Cloudflare does not receive them either. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles this data.

6. Advertising and analytics

The site currently shows no ads and uses no third-party analytics. If services such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense are added later, they may use cookies to measure visits or show ads based on your visits. We will update this policy before enabling them and ask for your consent first where required. You can learn how Google uses such data in Google's advertising policies.

Any changes will be posted on this page together with a new "Last updated" date.
